Curious Incident tells the story of Christopher Boone, a 15 year old boy with an extraordinary brain; he is brilliant at maths but finds it difficult to understand everyday life situations. The story follows Christopher on his quest to solve the mystery of who killed his neighbour’s dog. His detective mind and skills take him on an extraordinary adventure of ups and downs that make the story a best-selling novel and award-winning stage show. When the show closes in June 2017, it would have played over 1,600 performance and would have been seen by over 1 million people in London and around 2 and a half million people world-wide including a long running production on Broadway.
This show has won a number of awards including 7 Oliver Awards and 5 Tony Awards which includes ‘Best Play’, meaning this show is a must see in London. The show has been thrilling audiences for nearly 5 years but has now announced a closing date of 3rd June 2017. However the production is also going on a UK tour starting in January 2017 and a North American tour in September 2017 so there is even more chances to catch this magical show.
