Everybody’s Talking About Jamie Comes to West End this November

Acclaimed drag musical, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, is coming to London’s West End. In brief, it will run at the Apollo Theatre from 22nd November 2017 onward, with previews from 6th to 21st November 2017.

In essence, the production is based on the 2011 BBC documentary, Jamie: Drag Queen at 16. The documentary followed Jamie Campbell, a teenage boy from a small former mining village, who came out as gay and wanted to go to his school’s prom in drag.

The musical is scored by Dan Gillespie Sells, with a book by Tom MacRae and Jonathan Butterell.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie had a sold-out run at the Sheffield Theatre earlier this year.
