Meet the Full Cast of Five Guys Named Moe in London’s West End

Clarke Peters’ Five Guys Named Moe is premiering on 14th September 2017, with previews from 29th August 2017. Furthermore, Peters himself will direct the musical, which will open in a pop-up venue called Marble Arch Theatre.

Five Guys Named Moe tells the story of Nomax who had his girlfriend dump him and leave him with no money. He then finds comfort in music by five jazz singers, all of which are named Moe.

Moreover, the musical features jazz hits like ‘Early in the Morning’, ‘Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby’, ‘Choo Choo Ch’Boogie’, and ‘Saturday Night Fish Fry’.

About the full cast of Five Guys Named Moe

Playing Nomax is Edward Baruwa. His previous theatre credits, in particular, include Motown (Shaftesbury Theatre), Peter Pan in Concert (Adelphi Theatre), and Dessa Rose (Trafalgar Studio). Edward also appeared in films Florence Foster Jenkins and London Road.

Ian Carlyle will star as Four-Eyed Moe. He started his acting career by joining the Purple Theatre Company as a founding member. Ian’s stage performances include Showboat (Crucible Theatre Sheffield), Lion King (Lyceum Theatre), and We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre).

Dex Lee will play Know Moe. Dex graduated from The Arts Educational School in 2014. His theatre credits include In the Heights (King’s Cross Theatre), Carrie (Southwark), and Hairspray (National Tour).

Idriss Kargbo will star as Little Moe. Idriss began his acting career at a young age while studying at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. He has spent the past year playing Boq in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Meanwhile, playing Big Moe is Timothy Martin. His previous stage performances include Ragtime (Bologna Opera Theatre), Sister Act (UK Tour), and Candide (Florence Opera Theatre). Timothy was also in films like Black Butterfly and Bent.

Lastly, Emile Ruddock will star as the fifth Moe–also known as Eat Moe. His previous credits include 42nd Street (London Palladium/Dominion Theatre/Rugby Theatre), World of Dancing opening ceremony, and Crazy for You (Rugby Theatre).
