Michael Jackson Tribute Show Thriller Live Now Showing at Lyric Theatre

Thriller Live, a concert that celebrates Michael Jackson’s music and career, is now running at the Lyric Theatre. The show is booking until 1st April 2018.

Presently in its 9th year, Thriller Live takes the audience on a journey through the King of Pop’s musical history. For over two hours, the audience can expect non-stop hits. The show pays homage to Michael Jackson’s legendary live performances and innovative dance moves.

Moreover, the talented cast will perform iconic songs like I Want You BackABCCan You Feel ItOff The WallThe Way You Make Me FeelSmooth CriminalBeat ItBillie JeanDirty Diana, and Bad.

About the Thriller cast

Angelica Allen started pursuing music full-time after graduating from Boston University with a degree in Journalism. She has toured professionally throughout America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Angelica’s work on her own songwriting project, My Midnight Heart, earned her a shout-out in Rolling Stone magazine as one of the ‘Bands to Watch’ in 2013.

Dajiow, also known as David Jordan, has been touring with world-renowned artists for over 13 years now. His debut album in 2007, Set the Mood, peaked at number 13 on the UK Albums Chart.

Haydon Eshun was a member of the boy band Ultimate Kaos, which Simon Cowell formed back in the ’90s when Haydon was only 9 years old. After the band split up, he appeared in the TV programme, Reborn in the USA, and even tried to enter the Eurovision Song Contest.

Alex Ko trained as a session musician at Royal Northern College of Music. While he was studying, he also provided backup vocals for artists like Will Young and Heather Smalls. One of his biggest performances was at the London Olympics.

Meanwhile, John Moabi studied at Pretoria Technikon in South Africa and at Ballet Rambert in London. Some of his theatre credits include Street Scene (UK), The Legend of Lion King (Disneyland Paris), and Joseph and His Technicolour Dreamcoat (UK Tour).
