Motown The Musical

Motown the Musical tells the tale of Berry Gordy, the infamous and iconic founder of Motown. The musical follows the journey of a boxer turned music producer who put in motion the careers of now industry legends such as Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Marvin Gaye and the incredible Stevie Wonder.

The show features well known and internationally appreciated songs that will make the audience dance in their seats and continue dancing hours after they leave. There are over sixty songs which include Motown classics such as “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” which are sure to make anyone want to stand up and join in the singing.

The historical theatre originally opened in 1911 and has since put on renowned productions such as Westside Story and Hairspray the Musical. Motown the Musical was originally launched on Broadway in 2013 and has since been nominated for 4 Tony Awards including Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role and Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role.
